Winter Black Bass at PK

Fishing for Black Bass in the winter at PK is hit or miss for most people due to bass being more lethargic and typically a little bit deeper than most people are used to fishing. If you are like me I prefer to be slapping banks and spot fishing in shallower water. Typically in the winter that is not the best approach to getting fish in the boat. Most fish head for deeper water in the winter time especially black bass. Try fishing the bottom of the lake anywhere from 15ft to 30ft deep. Slow rolling baits on the bottom is usually the best approach to getting fish in the boat.
