Over the winter most people were focusing on the north end of the lake to catch striper. They were pretty deep in the channel around 30 foot deep. I have not heard recently where people have had the best luck but since the sand bass are up shallower I’m guessing the striper are shallower as well. Live shad is usually the best bait for striper but hair jigs, slabs, and deep diving crank baits are also a good option. If you want to catch a bunch of striper get in touch with one of the local guides. They have all had good success here recently.
