Brazos River Authority Proposes Changes to Lake and Land Regulations

The BRA proposes to make changes to regulations concerning their lake and land uses. Public comment on proposals is open until April 30, 2022. Changes include a new process for authorizing on-the -water facility permits, requiring commercial facilities to maintain equipment to contain spills, prohibiting new residential boat ramps, setting a time limit for camping at public use areas, regulation of floating equipment such as water slides and trampolines, establish rules for fuel storage and provisions to protect archaeological/historical features.
