Friends, family, and neighbors gathered at Lush Resort on Saturday, April 14 on a warm spring afternoon at PK Lake to honor and celebrate the Martin family, known as pioneers of the lake. Bobby and Carole Martin have been married for 67 years spending most of their life at the lake. Guests signed and left messages of congratulations on a large guest board with a photo of the couple on water skis. Son David pulled up to the Lush dock in a vintage wooden Chris Craft speed boat to join the family topside. The family and well-wishers enjoyed music performed by the T-Bone Stearns Trio from Fort Worth. A bar-b-que platter was offered by Chef Mike. The Martins continue to enjoy life at Possum Kingdom Lake.
