At 10am today the Texas Forest Service updated the information on wildfire 1148 on the west side of Possum Kingdom Lake. As of now the fire is still at 500 acres but the containment has been moved up to 45% from 25%. Crews are still working on putting out hot spots along the fire’s perimeter.
There is a small chance of rain the next couple of days. Winds should be weaker than they have been the last couple of days.
