Villa Marina was the first area on the lake to construct commercial boat slips. Today Scenic Cove is surrounded by boat slips including the Harbor Marina. What was the original name of this area?
Answer:
Villa Marina was built on the site known as Jack’s Point. Scenic Cove was originally called Boat Dock Bay by anglers as the water below the boat slips was a good place to catch fish.
